The INFINITI Q50 is the ultimate luxury vehicle for the discerning car buyer. How much do you know about this amazing feat of engineering?
Unveiled at the 2013 North American International Auto Show, the 2014 INFINITI Q50's design was a combination of three recent INFINITI concept vehicles: The INFINITI Essence, the INFINITI Etherea, and the INFINITI Emerg-E. These three concept cars that came before the final INFINITI Q50 were grand experiments to determine what features could carry over to a production model. For example, the INFINITI Q50's eye-like headlights are from the 2011 INFINITI Etherea, and the asymmetrical cabin layout that focuses on the comfort of the driver, creating a unique interior with a Yin-Yang approach, is taken from what the INFINITI Essence started in 2009 and the INFINITI Emerg-E developed in 2012.
The INFINITI Q50 was introduced to the market to herald the change of INFINITI's vehicle lineup from the G-line to the Q-line, upgrading the vehicle's styling with smooth lines, sharp creases, and an interior that leaves no question in your mind if this sedan is made for luxury. It is equipped with a V6 engine, but when you step on the gas you'll be forgiven for thinking that it is a V8 under the hood.
There is no doubt that the INFINITI Q50 is a luxury car, but that doesn't mean that it is not an exciting car to drive! This powerful vehicle is ready to own the road with its advanced handling, technology, and refinement. The 2015 INFINITI Q50 is also available as a hybrid for the more environmentally-friendly driver.
