Interior Review of the 2025 INFINITI QX80

The 2025 INFINITI QX80 features an uncluttered and elegant interior design. Two large (14.3-inch) displays adorn the dashboard, and a 9-inch climate control screen adorns the center stack. Meanwhile, the Luxe trim offers a head-up display, complementing the cabin's high-quality materials.

As a full-size SUV, the QX80 has a spacious interior accommodating up to eight passengers. If you want to fit more people in the second row, you'll have to replace the captain's chairs with bench seats. Regardless of seating configuration, the first and second rows offer great comfort. Meanwhile, children can sit comfortably in the third row. Drivers can easily find a comfortable position thanks to the power-adjustable front seats. Running boards and wide doors make getting in and out easy.

This three-row SUV has 22 cubic feet of trunk space. When the third row is folded down, it expands to 59 cubic feet. Folding down all the seats gives you even more space for transporting bulky items. Moreover, it can tow up to 8,500 pounds, making it a great choice for family trips or moving furniture.

Cabin storage options include cup holders under flip covers and armrests if you choose captain's chairs. There are also spacious compartments underneath both armrests, and each door has a small pocket for essentials. Furthermore, the glove compartment offers plenty of room for storing additional items.

Exterior Review of the 2025 INFINITI QX80

The QX80 is the largest among INFINITI's SUVs. Its blocky front fascia and rectangular grille give it a bold, robust appearance. The SUV also has curved lines and slanted headlights with LED daytime running lights to balance things out. Moonroofs and roof rails are standard features.

New features include a bamboo-inspired grille, flush door handles, and full-width LED elements across the tail. When you approach with the fob, the QX80 puts on a light show – if the Sensory or Autograph trims are selected.

The base model has 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels, while the rest have machined-finished 22-inch aluminum alloys. A cool brake strip is on the power-operated liftgate spoiler around the back.

Various two-tone and monotone exterior colors are available for the 205 INFINITI QX80. The color options, Black Obsidian and Premium Coulis Red, are standard and don't come with an additional charge. Additionally, exterior colors such as Grand Blue, Anthracite Gray, Mineral Black, Radiant White, and Dynamic Metal are available (for a fee). The following two-tone options can be created with these colors and Black Obsidian:

  • Premium Dynamic Metal / Black Obsidian Two-Tone
  • Premium Radiant White / Black Obsidian Two-Tone
  • Premium Mineral Black / Graphite Shadow Two-Tone
  • Premium Grand Blue / Black Obsidian Two-Tone
  • Premium Coulis Red / Black Obsidian Two-Tone

Power and Performance of the 2025 INFINITI QX80

The new QX80 SUV's twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine produces 450 horsepower and 515 lb-ft of torque, significantly increasing over the previous generation's engine. There will also be a new nine-speed automatic transmission. The lower trims come standard with rear-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available as an option. Meanwhile, the top trims come with standard all-wheel drive. It accelerates quickly, and even when pushed hard, the engine sounds muted.
